SWITZERLAND

SWITZERLAND. Where I caught a snowflake on my tongue. A place where almost every commercial building is decked up with a clock. A place where wristwatches could be so expensive that you could buy a plot of land in India at the same cost. A place so exclusive that hearsay has it farmers own private jets and you could be branded an urchin if you’re found carrying less than 5 Swiss Francs (approximately Rs.325) in your pocket. A place so safe that restaurants and cafes leave their chairs and tables outside overnight on the sidewalks and expensive merchandise is visible through glass windows all night long. A place where every fifth person is an Indian tourist and where shop owners are likely to greet you with a ‘Namaste’.
